 ement. With its fast layout\, generous runoff zones\, and spacious paddo
 ck\, CMP isn’t just a track—it’s a destination for Time Attack drivers a

  place at Carolina Motorsports Park.\nEach driver gets one practice sess
 ion to start the event\, followed by three competition sessions each day
 .\nResults will be based by combining each driver's fastest lap on each 
 each day. The podium highlights the three lowest combined times per clas
 s.\nDrivers will be grouped by their experience level\, and gridded by l
 ap times following the practice session.\n\nRegistration opens on Friday

 n\n\nEVENT RULES\n\n\n\nA. GENERAL RULES:This event is governed by the 2
 025 SCCA Time Trial Rules (TTR)\, National Competition Format and Nation
 al Classing as outlined attimetrials.scca.complus the rules and procedur
 es found on this page.\nB.PASSING &amp\; TRACK PROCEDURES:Groups will us
 e the suggested passing rules and procedures for Novice\, Intermediate a
 nd Advanced Drivers as outlined in the “Rules of The Track” section foun
 d at timetrials.scca.com.\nC. CLOTHING:Drivers are required to wear the 
 minimum clothing outlined in the SCCA Time Trials Rules or as required i
 n the specific track rules for their car and class. Safe apparel must be
  worn in the pits at all times (shirts and closed toe shoes). Crew membe
 rs on pit lane must display their event credentials at all times while o
 n pit lane.\nD. PACED LAPS:Paced Laps are intended for Novice Drivers an
 d Drivers who have never seen the track. Other drivers may join with per
 mission of their group's driver coach if they join at the back and track
  density permits.\nE. PIT LANE:The speed limit on pit road is 25 mph. No
  tire scrubbing in the pit lane prior to entering the course.\nF.IMPOUND
 :Drivers will report to impound for post-session debriefs immediately fo
 llowing each session.\nG. RESULTS:Live timing will be available during t
 he event at timetrials.scca.com. Provisional and final results will be p
 osted at the Event Center. Additionally\, final results will be posted t
 o timetrials.scca.com no later than seven days following the completion 
 of the event.\nH. FLAG PROCEDURES:Black Flag Station and other event-spe
 cific flagging procedures will be announced at the event.\nI. SCALES:Loc
 ation and Requirements will be available at check-in.\nJ. EVENT SCHEDULE
 :Actual session start times may be delayed from the published schedule d
 ue to unforeseen circumstances during the event. It is the driver’s resp
 onsibility to listen to the PA system and pay attention to activity on t
 rack. The schedule or run groups may only be changed (or start times adv
 anced) at the discretion of the Competition Director\, with concurrence 
 by the Event Lead\, depending on pre-race entry counts or as needed to a
 ccommodate situations during the event.\nK. COMMUNICATIONS:Radio frequen
 cies used by event officials may be monitored but shall not be used for 
 communication by any participant.\n\n\n\nDRIVER ELIGIBILITY &amp\; INFOR
 MATION\n\n\n\nA. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY:The event is open to all drivers wit
 h a valid state driver's license and a full membership to the SCCA.  If 
 you don't have a membership you can join when you register.\nB. TIME TRI
 ALS LICENSES:It will help if you have one\, but it's OK if you don't. Ev
 ent officials will work with you to make sure you get one fitting your e
 xperience level at the event. (No charge.)\nC. MEDICAL:Please notify the
  Officials of any pertinent medical condition(s). Any participants invol
 ved in an accident in which there is significant damage or any injury\, 
 or at a race official’s discretion\, MUST present themselves or be trans
 ported to the track medical facility for evaluation. Off-site medical tr
 ansportation fees may apply.\nD. MINOR DRIVERS:Drivers 16- and 17-years-
 old\, with a state-issued driver's license can compete\, but there is so
 me extra paperwork. Please contact Officials before the event and get ap
 proval from the Event Lead.\n\n\n\nVEHICLE ELIGIBILITY &amp\; INFORMATIO
 N\n\n\n\nA. VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY:Competition is open to all vehicles conf
 orming to theNational Time Trials Classes. Some tracks do not allow Elec
 tric Vehicles. Please refer to Track Information to verify EV eligibilit
 y.\nB. DECALS:All cars must have Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack Challenge de
 cals and any required partner decals visibly placed on each side of the 
 vehicle and a Tire Rack windshield banner at the top of the front windsh
 ield. Decals will be provided free of charge and may be obtained at regi
 stration and/or tech. A diagram of sticker placement for Time Attack Cha

  soon.\nC. TECHNICAL INSPECTION:All vehicles must be presented at tech t
 o turn intech formsand pass the event safety inspection (Tech) if requir
 ed prior to any on-course participation. Tech may also check event spons
 or decal requirements and verify compliance of Vehicle Identification. C
 ompetitors are cautioned that vehicle/identification color combinations 
 such as red/black\, red/blue\, and white/silver do not have adequate con
 trast.\nD.TIMING &amp\; SCORING:All cars are required to use fully opera
 tional Westhold\, MyLaps/AMB TranX260 or X2 transponders. The driver is 
 responsible for providing correct information to Timing &amp\; Scoring. 
 Non-functioning transponders will likely result in the loss of times.\nE
 . RENTAL TRANSPONDERS:Rental transponders are available through registra
 tion.\n\n\n\nCAROLINA MOTORSPORTS PARK TRACK INFO\n\n\n\nCMP TRACK INFO\
 n1. ELECTRIC VEHICLES: CMP will allow Electric Vehicles (EV) on track du
 ring hot sessions\, but does not allow or have the ability to charge the
 m on site.\n2. RULES OF THE PITS:All personsworking in pit laneshall be 
 SCCA members wearing the proper credentials.  Working pits will not be a
 llowed in the area of the false grid.  Smoking is prohibited in all grid
  and pit areas.\n3. RULES OF THE PADDOCK:The paddock is defined as the f
 enced area adjacent to pit road\, false grid and tech.  These rules appl
 y to all paved and grassed areas.  Electric power that is available is t
 o be shared by all.  DO NOT OVERLOAD THE POWER OUTLETS.  A $25 charge wi
 ll be applied to owners of all units plugged in to a power pole for any 
 damage to outlets on that pole. \n4. PADDOCK VEHICLES:Use of ATV’s or ga
 soline powered pit vehicles is at the discretion of Carolina Motorsports
  Park and the chief steward and shall not exceed 10 MPH. .  These vehicl
 es shall be operated in a safe manner andonly by licensed individuals.  
 No fireworks\, firearms\, weapons or illegal drugs are permitted anywher
 e on the premises.  Animals must be on leash at all times.  Failure to a
 bide by these rules may result in immediate expulsion from the event pre
 mises by track management or the organizing region and/or a permanent ba
 n from the track.  \n5. SOUND CONTROL:A sound limit of 103 db is in effe
 ct Per track rules.  \n6.FIRE EXTINGUISHERS:  The track requires each ra
 ce car entered to have\, immediately available at all times\, one (1) po
 rtable\, dry chemical fire extinguisher of a rating of at least 12 BC.\n
 7.QUIET HOURS:No race engines may be run between 8:00 pm and 7:30 am eac
 h day\, or during quiet time between 11:00am and 12:00 pm on Sunday.\n8.
  FACILITIES:  Carolina Motorsports Park is an SCCA approved 2.279-mile r
 oad course.  Water\, air and electricity are available in the paddock.  
 Minimal RV hook-ups are available.  Toilets and showers are available.  
 Oil dump stations are available\, and you are expected to use them.  No 
 batteries\, tires or fluids are to be dumped at the facility.  The speed
  limit on all Park property is 10 mph.  The paddock will be open for ent
 ry at 5 pm on Friday\, or earlier at the discretion of CMP.  Any SCCA me
 mber arriving at the track after registration closes on Friday evening m
 ay be allowed to enter the track upon signing a CMP Track waiver\, and a
 t the discretion of the CMP Security Guard.  Any individual entering in 
 this manner must return to Registration on Saturday morning before being
  allowed to participate in any part of the event.  Driver or crew not pr
 operly SCCA registered will be ejected from the track without refund.  R
 ace fuel is available at the track at hours designated by the track. Cov
